Funeral director partnerships

A calm digital aftercare option for the families you support.

Departed Digital helps bereaved families close or memorialise social media and digital accounts without another confusing process. Funeral directors can offer it as a trusted aftercare resource, with a simple handoff and no operational burden on their team.

What partners usually care about

  • Families receive a practical next step when digital accounts become a burden.
  • The referral handoff is simple and does not add admin to your arrangement team.
  • We provide referral cards or pack inserts for your condolence materials.
  • Commercial terms are clear, fixed, and easy to account for.
Why partners use it

A genuinely useful aftercare resource, not another brochure.

The partnership works best when it feels helpful to families and straightforward for the funeral director. The service is designed to protect trust at the point of referral and keep the operational work with us.

Family-first handoff

Families are introduced to a calm, structured service for digital accounts at a moment when that task often feels impossible to handle alone.

Low admin

Your team does not need to manage platform forms, chase social networks, or collect the case documents for us. We take over the operational side directly.

Materials included

We can provide simple referral cards or partner materials so the service can sit naturally within your aftercare pack.

Commission details

Clear, fixed referral terms.

This information lives here on the partner page, not on the public family homepage. The commercial structure is intentionally simple so it is easy to explain, track, and reconcile.

£50
Referral fee for each referred family that converts.
  • Paid per converted referral.
  • Paid within 14 days of case completion.
  • No minimum volume required.
  • Suitable for independent funeral directors who want a simple aftercare partner.
How it works

The partner handoff is intentionally simple.

The model is designed so the family journey stays joined up while your team only needs to make the introduction.

1

Introduce the service

Share the referral card, printed pack insert, or direct link with the family when appropriate.

2

Family starts the case

The family completes the short intake and moves into the private case review step directly with us.

3

We handle fulfilment

We collect the secure case file after payment, manage submissions, and keep the case moving.

4

Referral closes out

Once the case is completed, the referral fee is processed and the partner record is closed.

Partner FAQ

Common questions from funeral directors.

What does the family pay?

Families choose from the public case packages: Essential at £149, Standard at £249, and Estate at £399. The fee covers the handling and documentation for the selected level of support.

What counts as a converted referral?

A referral counts as converted when the family proceeds with one of the packages and the case is opened for handling.

Do we need to collect documents from the family?

No. We collect the death certificate and proof of authority after payment through our own case flow, so your team is not pulled into document handling.

What do you need from us operationally?

Usually just the introduction. We can provide referral materials so the handoff feels natural inside your existing aftercare process.
